I just met Harry this year in front of Husky stadium, when I sold him my extra ticket for the Husky/UCLA game on Sept. 23. He was fun to sit by, and I was impressed by his open friendliness to everyone in our section. At that time I had no idea he owned Atlantic Street Pizza, but I do remember that he was not impressed with the pizza I had bought to eat at the game, and he made several comments about what a bad pizza that was. A few weeks later I had another extra ticket to the Husky game again so we went to that one together also, but this time he had me meet him at his restaurant, and then I fully understood why my boring pizza I bought at the previous game was the recipient of so many comments from him! We had a fun time at both of the games, and spent quite a bit of time afterwords talking about each of our daughters, who are similar in age. He told me tons of stories about his interest in music and I could tell that music was a true passion of his. We also had planned to get together for "Sushi Happy Hour" downtown, but that was the week that he got sick, so I never got to see him again.I had hoped to get to know Harry better, and will definitely miss my new friend. I will think of him now every time I walk into Husky stadium, but I know that he will still be rooting for the purple & gold, and will be the invisible Husky on the field from now on, helping those passes get received, and helping to make those tackles!
